What AWS will cost you

Frequently asked questions
Is this managed Jitsi hosting or self-hosting?
Both. The server is self-hosted in your own AWS account, so you own it and AWS bills you directly. Our platform does the managing: provisioning, configuration, SSL, features, resizing and clean teardown, from a web dashboard with no SSH.
How long does a deployment take?
10 to 20 minutes. The dashboard streams each step live: creating the security group, launching the instance, waiting for SSH, installing Docker and Jitsi, checking DNS and issuing the SSL certificate.
What do I need to get started?
An AWS account with access keys, and optionally a domain or subdomain you can point at the server. You do not need to know AWS, Linux, Docker or Jitsi.
Can I remove everything later?
Yes. One click destroys exactly the resources that deployment created and nothing else in your account. The dialog lists every resource first, including the recordings bucket.
Which clouds are supported?
AWS today. Google Cloud, Azure and DigitalOcean are planned through the same provider interface.
