# Jitsi Meet installation service

> We install and configure Jitsi Meet on your server or cloud account: correct sizing, Docker on a pinned stable release, your domain with trusted SSL, firewall rules, authentication, and a three-device test before handover. You get admin access and written notes for everything we set up. Most installs are live within one to two working days.

A Jitsi server that works in a two-person test and fails in a real meeting is the most common thing we are hired to fix. Our installation service gets it right the first time.

## What we do

1. **Scoping call.** How many people, how many rooms at once, recording or transcription, who should be allowed to host, where your users are.
2. **Sizing.** We pick the server size and region, and show you the monthly infrastructure cost before anything is created.
3. **Install.** Docker, pinned to a tested stable release, your domain, SSL, firewall, and the authentication model you need.
4. **Test.** Three devices on different networks, screen sharing, host login, and your browsers.
5. **Handover.** Admin access and plain-language notes: where the config lives, how to add hosts, how to upgrade.

## Who it is for

- Companies that want private meetings on their own infrastructure.
- Schools, clinics and NGOs with data residency or privacy requirements.
- Developers who need a reliable Jitsi backend for their product.

## Prefer to do it yourself?

The same recipe is in our [Docker install guide](/guides/install-jitsi-docker/), and on AWS our [one-click platform](/jitsi-hosting/) does it automatically. The service is for when you want an engineer to own the outcome.

## Frequently asked questions

### Where can you install Jitsi?

AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, other VPS providers, or your own on-premise Linux servers. On AWS you can also skip the service and use our one-click platform in your own account.

### Do you need access to my server?

We need SSH access for the install, or a temporary cloud user with limited permissions. We recommend removing our access after handover, and we document everything so your team can run it.

### What if something breaks after installation?

Every install includes a follow-up window for questions and fixes related to our setup. For ongoing cover, add a support plan.
